I've Always Had a Thing for Details

Apparently, I Have a Very Specific Taste

I worked as a civil engineer for five years, so you might expect me to have a pretty practical approach to things. And I do. But somewhere along the way, I became obsessed with the tiniest visual details. I can spend ages looking for something specific, even when I can't explain exactly what I'm looking for. I just know when I find it.

My taste is a funny mix. I love minimalism, but I also love bold colors, unusual patterns, and combinations that make people look twice. I can appreciate a completely understated look, then suddenly decide it needs something unexpected. Like zebra print. A few years ago, I wouldn't have touched it. Now I'm finding excuses to include it everywhere. Apparently, my opinions aren't particularly loyal.

And colors? That's a whole other obsession. Sometimes I'll spot a combination I love, and twenty minutes later, I start seeing those same colors on buildings, packaging, clothes, random objects. I genuinely wonder whether they were always there and I just wasn't paying attention. I think I've become much more aware of what I personally like, especially in a world where everything starts looking suspiciously similar.

I enjoy experimenting, mixing things that aren't obvious companions, and finding that little detail that changes the whole composition. Sometimes it's a pattern. Sometimes an unusual object. Sometimes two colors that look surprisingly good together.

And I don't always need everyone else to understand my choices. There's something satisfying about finding a combination that feels so completely me, even if nobody else would have picked it.
